Catherine, a highly intelligent, 12-year-old girl fantasizes about killing her stepfather Phil after the premature death of her biological father. When Catherine’s mother goes away on a business trip, Catherine is forced to re-examine her feelings towards Phil and face up to her unresolved feelings of grief.
